You all know how Oprah loves bread?
Well, I love tea. It is my drink of choice any day over a cup of coffee. My love for tea started a few years back when I learned of all of the health benefits it has to offer. There's seriously so many.
One of my favorite local places in the Indy area is HoiTea ToiTea. They are located in Broad Ripple, and the shop is truly something special.
Not only do they offer tea, but they have coffee, tea infused beer, champagne tea cocktails, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and more.
I try to stay hip to the new things going on and I instantly fell in love with this places because they offer the coolest classes, including tea blending.

Some of my fellow blogger ladies and myself got together for two amazing events at HoiTea ToiTea. First up was our blending class.
We arrived to an amazing set up with a ton of loose leaf tea options to play with. We were given an overview of each tea type, the health benefits, and what they blend well with.
Then the real fun began and we were able to create our own custom blends.
We did an abbreviated class, but everything we needed was provided to us. The class which normally runs for 2 hours is only a $35 investment. Grab your friends and give it a try!
Above is the blend I created and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it turned out. I've drank it a few times since the class and can't wait to go back and create something new.
We had a blast as a group and everyone left happy, which is always important.
The next event we did was a tea and pastry pairing class. Alex, co-owner of the shop was amazing both times. You can tell that tea is her passion and it makes the experience that much better. Her and her husband run the place together and are doing a fabulous job.
This event was great and everything was delicious. Our pastries consisted of the Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Lavender Fog Macron, and the Lemon Poppyseed scone with a Devonshire cCeam.
The beverages were the Lavender Fog Champagne, a Belgian Wit tea infused beer and a Raspberry Hibiscus Sangria. Everything was paired perfectly and the flavors complimented each other well.
I could eat the Poppyseed scone everyday. It was my absolute favorite. If you and some friends want to give this a try it's only a $15 investment.
Not only does HoiTea ToiTea offer the coolest classes, they have a room you can rent out for free to hold meetings, parties, etc. It was so easy to work with them to get both of these events set up.
They are open everyday of the week and even have bottomless Mimosas on the weekends.
I have worked from their establishment many times and the staff has been awesome with each visit. If you're a tea lover like me, or want to learn more I highly recommend stopping in.
You won't regret it!
